Information used to run the site

When you visit, our hosting and security providers process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, the page requested, and the time of the request. This helps deliver pages, investigate errors, and protect the site.

If you email us

We receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and handle related follow-up. Sending a support message does not subscribe you to a marketing list.

Cookies and language preferences

The site can use a language-preference cookie to remember whether you chose English or Portuguese. That preference may be stored for up to one year. Security providers may also use cookies needed to protect the site. Authorized staff sign-ins use authentication cookies. We have not added advertising trackers or a separate visitor analytics service.

Account registration

When you create an account with an email and password, we store the name and email address you provide and a secure password hash. These details let you sign in, manage your account, and keep your private tests and course access linked to you. Passwords are not stored as readable text. Authentication and form-security cookies protect sign-in and registration.

Optional Google sign-in

When you choose Continue with Google, Google supplies your name, verified email address, and Google account identifier so we can create or access your Exams.biz learner account. We keep those account details and the Google account link with your Exams.biz account. Your Google password is never sent to Exams.biz. Temporary authentication cookies complete the sign-in process. Google profile pictures and long-term access-token storage are disabled. Existing Exams.biz accounts must sign in before linking Google. Google handles its own sign-in pages under its privacy policy.

Service providers

The website is hosted with Contabo and uses Cloudflare for DNS, content delivery, and security. These providers process technical information needed to supply their services. Cloudflare describes its handling of data in its privacy policy. If you contact us by email, email service providers also process the message.

How long information is kept

Language cookies expire according to their settings or can be removed in your browser. Technical logs are subject to the server’s log-rotation settings. Support messages may be retained while we handle your request and any related follow-up. You can ask us about information associated with your email address.

Your choices and requests

You can remove cookies through your browser, although this may reset preferences. You can also contact us to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have shared. The rights and exceptions that apply depend on your location and the relevant law.

Quiz imports and AI explanations

Signed-in users with a Personal Engine license can import PDFs into their private test library. Parsed question banks and associated diagrams are stored on the server and linked to the account that imported them. When AI explanations are enabled and you click Super Intelligence Explanation, we send the question, choices, source answer key, any explanation included in the PDF, and associated diagrams to OpenAI. We do not add your account name, email address, password, or selected answer to that request. Generated explanations may be stored with the question bank and reused for up to 30 days; deleting your private test removes its saved explanations. API requests use store: false for response storage; this setting does not by itself mean that OpenAI retains no data.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when the site’s data use changes, including before introducing new account, payment, or AI features that process additional personal information.

Orders and payments

When you make a purchase, we store the billing details entered at checkout, order items and amounts, payment method and status, transaction references and activation status. These records link the purchase to your account, deliver access and support order enquiries. Your payment provider receives the information needed to process the transaction and applies its own privacy practices. Card details and PayPal passwords are handled by the payment provider. Session cookies maintain your cart and checkout.

Exam reviews

Reviews store the rating, comment and association with the submitting account. Only administrator-approved reviews are public. Public identification uses a masked email prefix such as ***jo***; the account name and full email are not published as the author identity.

Exam guarantee requests

When you request an exam refund, we store your account and order references, name, contact email, purchased exam, official exam date, invoice or receipt and official result, along with the review status and internal notes. We use these details to verify and handle the request. Uploaded documents are stored privately outside the public media library and can be opened only by authorized review staff. They are not published with reviews or sent to the AI explanation service. Contact [email protected] about access, correction or deletion of claim information.
